Screen time can be described as the time spent viewing of TV/video, computer, electronic games, smart phones, or other visual devices. There is no disputing the fact that our children are growing up in front of screens. According to a Kaiser Foundation report, children as young as 8 years old spend nearly 7.5 hours a day consuming media in front of screens. Many younger children and even infants are subject to screen time as well.
